Systems and Digital Technology

Welcome to the Office of Systems & Digital Technology within the
Nelson Poynter Memorial Library.  This office supports  the computing
needs of several groups- library staff, students and public users.
The Nelson Poynter Library is well positioned as a computing
environment; large enough to have its own infrastructure, but also
small enough to give individual attention to users and to respond
quickly to ever changing needs.

The USFSP Nelson Poynter Memorial Library hosts a variety of computing resources, services, and access points to support staff, student and public users. Student use computing environments including the Information Commons, Library Instructional Classroom, and public spaces such as Poynter’s Corner, powered by USFSP’s most dense and robust wireless network provide the perfect setting for collaboration, study, and a needed break. The first floor hosts USFSP’s largest most available open use computing area, the Information Commons, hosts all of the hardware and software applications that students need. Students may also check out laptops from the circulation desk which can can be used throughout the building or in the 14 study rooms of the library.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please use our library technology helpdesk to contact us, or submit your feedback directly to Systems & Digital Technology.
